General Information For Visitors
The Cathedral is very much part of the local community. It is used regularly for local, regional and/or national services and events. Some or all of it may therefore at times be closed  to the public  visiting. Please always contact the head Office in Kiungani before visiting for up-to-date information.

Opening Times
Weekdays (Monday to Sunday)…………….. 09:00 – 06:00 hrs.

Charges (Please note this charges are subject to change anytime without notice)
Adults and Children (above 10yrs)……….. $5 USD.
Residents ……… $3USD.

The Cathedral offers a wide range of facilities to ensure that each visitor enjoys a warm and appropriate welcome. Visitors may like to wander around with the help of one of our tour guide. Or they may like to join a general tour. Tours take place throughout the day, Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 06:30 hrs. Our expert guides make the Cathedral and its rich history come to life.

Hospitality
Saint Monica’s Restaurant offers a wide range of  snacks and beverages.

Photography
Photography is permitted (except in the Altar) – but for your own personal use only. Any commercial / stock library photography must be agreed in advance and is subject to a fee.

Parking
Parking is not possible within the cathedral except for a very few disabled parking spaces, by prior arrangement. The Cathedral is in the heart of Stone-town and there are several public car parks nearby.
